Cloacal Malformation Combined with Polycystic Kidney

Week：13 weeks

• no anus, 0.7*0.2 cm protrusion visible at the external genitalia, segmental thickened intestinal canal below the appendix, about 1.0 cm long.
• The left kidney showed polycystic-like changes, with slender ureter (atresia) and dilated ureter externally.
• The left extra-renal pelvis was dilated, the ureter was not accessible, and there was no appendix. There was no response at the external genitalia by pumping water into the bladder; the left kidney was in a low position and the intestinal canal was about 40 cm long. (iv) Cloacal malformation with complete urorectal diaphragm sequence sign.

Dewlap with Cleft Lip and Palate

Week: 12.4 weeks

• Dewlap malformation, single umbilical artery, right cleft lip III°, size 0.3*0.2 cm.
• Cleft alveolar arch, complete cleft palate.
• amniotic band adhesions were seen in the 3rd and 4th fingers of the left hand (fingers separated), in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th fingers of the right hand (parallel fingers), in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd toes of the left foot (parallel fingers and short toes), and in the 1st toe of the right foot.
• Nasal hypoplasia.

Umbilical Bulge

Week:23.2 weeks

• Fetal umbilical pang out (the bulge is intestinal tube, liver and appendix), size 5*4.5*2.5cm.
• X-ray showed that the 6th, 7th and 10th vertebrae were dysplastic.

Oligodactyly

Week: 22.5 weeks

• Pathological Findings: right hand palm deformity with only three fingers visible.

Syndactyly, Short Finger and Syndactyly Short Toe Deformity

Week: 21.3 weeks

• The 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th fingers of the left hand were syndactyly; the 2nd, 3rd and 4th fingers were short.
• The 2nd, 3rd, and 4th fingers of the right hand are parallel and short-fingered.
• The left foot has only 2 toes, and the left foot is small.
• The right foot has the 2nd, 3rd and 4th toes together and short toes.

Cervical Lymphoedema

Week: 14.3 weeks

• Pathological Findings: generalized skin edema and cervical lymphoedema in the fetus.

Thoracoabdominal Twins

Week: a: 20.6 weeks b: 20.5 weeks

• Pathological Findings: thoraco-abdominal union of the twin fetuses with 2 trunks visible.

Normal Fetus

Week: 27.3 weeks

• Pathological Findings: the skull was penetrated, no significant abnormalities in the internal organs in general and normal appearance.

Short Limb Deformity

Week: 25.4 weeks

• Horseshoe inversion of the left foot.
• Short forearm of the right hand with 5 fingers.

Short Limb and Rib Syndrome

Week: 19 weeks

• Pathological Findings: short limb and short rib syndrome, placenta weighing 185g, size 16*12*1.5cm.

Short Limb Deformity

Week: 30 weeks

• Pathological Findings: short limb malformation, placenta weighing 275g, size 17*15*0.5-1.5cm.

Small mandibular malformation with cleft palate fetus

Week: 23.3 weeks

• Fetus with small lower jaw, small mouth, slightly low ear position and cleft palate.
• Restricted elbow joint movement between upper arm and forearm bilaterally.
• malformation of the right thumb, left hand 1st and 2nd fingers in parallel, stacked toes of the 4th and 5th toes of both feet.

Polydactyly

• Pathological Findings: 6 fingers on the side of the little finger on both hands, a polydactyly.

Spinal Cord Bulging Fetus

Week: 24 weeks

• weight 750g, length 34cm, head circumference 22cm, chest circumference 18cm, abdominal circumference 16cm; left and right ear 2.5*1.5cm.
• Dorsal neck cyst, 4*3*2.5cm.
• Spinal cord spinal membrane bulge.

Chiari Malformation

Week: 22 weeks

• Pathological Findings: Chiari II syndrome with a 2*2 cm skin defect, sub-circular in shape, visible in the sacrococcygeal region.
